WHAT IS CASA BATTLÓ?
Casa Batlló is located on Passeig de Gràcia in the Eixample district and is one of the masterpieces designed by Antoni Gaudí.
From the outside, the façade of Casa Batlló appears to be made of bones and skulls. However, the "skulls" are actually balconies and the "bones" are supporting pillars.
Casa Batlló has no sharp angles: Gaudí used the colours and shapes of marine life as inspiration for his creativity in this building
