Two months ago, the kiss Achraf Hakimi's mother gave her son after Morocco's victory over Belgium in the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar went viral.
After the great Moroccan surprise in the sporting event, the Chilean artist Diego created a mural with the famous image in one of the streets of Ciutat Vella in Barcelona - you can find it in Carrer de la Riereta con Carrer de Sant Martí.
The image shows one of the most shared photographs of the 2022 World Cup along with the Arabic phrase "migrant mothers", in reference to the difficulties faced by mothers who decide to emigrate with their children in search of a better future.
Achraf Hakimi is the son of Moroccan migrant parents and was born in Getafe, he came to play with the Spanish U-19 national team but decided to continue his international career with Los Leones del Atlas.
He also played in Real Madrid's youth academy and made it to the first team.
